Hello! As I have teased a few times before I will be holding a Kickstarter for my wilderness-horror RPG book “Into the Wyrd and Wild” Of which, the Kickstarter will be launching Monday, December 3.
Those of you who were there for the World War Occult Kickstarter know I like to do a little something whenever I promote one of my books; namely, giving out free shit.

Pathfinder Adventure Path: Strange Aeons: In Search of Sanity, pg. 82~83
The final Great Old One (for now, hopefully) is finally upon us! I didn’t actually hold Ithaqua back for any particular reason, it just sort of… Ended up that way. I don’t have anything against the progenitor of the Wendigo (or so he claims to be), but someone had to be in last place and it couldn’t rightfully be Cthulhu since he was our first Milestone Monster!
In many ways, Ithaqua fights in a manner similar to a much beefier Wendigo, in that it will usually torment its foes from afar with foul weather (at-will Mythic Control Weather), driving winds (at-will Mythic Gust of Wind), and horrific nightmares as it pushes them to the brink of desperation and madness. Only when a group has turned on one another and the majority of them are dead or broken will Ithaqua march in and take his pick from the “litter,” carrying a chosen victim high into the skies and releasing them only when they’ve succumbed to Wendigo Psychosis, dropping them in remote parts of the world to complete their transformation.
Simply being within 300ft of Ithaqua forces people to save versus his vastly empowered Wendigo Psychosis each round until they either leave the radius or become contaminated. This is the first half of his Unspeakable Presence, which isn’t much use if he finds himself in direct conflict with someone, as the Psychosis triggers its Wisdom drain only once an hour. It’s useful for the hit-and-run games he likes to play, but should a group of powerful foes manage to pin him in place and prevent him from using his at-will Wind Walk or Dimension Door, they’ll find out he’s just as good at hitting as he is running.
